Is there anyway I can download my own fonts to use on my website or do I have to use the couple fonts that are given to me through my template?

Hi kmason,

Thanks for posting!

Unfortunately there isn't a way to download your own fonts to use on your website. The only thing I can think of is you could use a picture editing software such as photoshop or Gimp (free program) to create your text and save it as an image. You would then be able to upload the image and have it look like custom text on your site.

Thanks!

Chris

Hi Mary Ann! Please check out Chris' response above. I wish we had better news for you, but hopefully you can upload an image with the font you'd like to use onto your website.

Thanks!

Dear intuit,

Uploading an exported image was my intuitive solution to the lack of fonts, but the problem is that none of the text will be searchable... We need more fonts!

The other work around to this i suppose is to copy the text into a text box and throw that on the bottom layer so it doesn't appear...

Good idea -- or you can add Alt Text in the Properties Editor on the right for the image. Alt Text is searchable.

Thanks,
Aubrey

Hi Sean -

Thanks for writing in!

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to import your own font in Sitebuilder. Please check out Chris' reply above for other options as well as this post

Thanks,
Aubrey

Is it possible to import new fonts from my computer to the text editor?

Hello Banecookie,

Unfortunately there isn't currently a way to import your own fonts into SiteBuilder, but you can create an image of your text and bring that into SiteBuilder. In SiteBuilder Plus, you can import .png files which would allow you to have a transparent background.

You can also use HTML or CSS coding (see post here) to use fonts not built in.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Mindy G

Another option is to use a text editor such as MS Word, or Publisher, and save the text as an image file. Then import the image file the same way as your ordinary pictures.
