Wanting to forward Domain so it will link to a long standing site on Yahoo.  Do I need to change site association and enter destination site (if so, it will not let me type in that area).  I can change Nameservers to the destination site and have pulled up the "A" @ IP address for the destination site.  Do I enter the "A" IP address and then also mess with the CNAME.  There is a bunch of them so if I do..  do I do all of them or just the one marked with *        Thank you... I just cant maintain both sites and the other site/domain has been established for 10+ years

If you have the nameservers  for the destination site, and you do not use our email service, then I would just change the nameservers. You may also need to do something on the web host end to point it.

OK I have contacted Yahoo.. they are telling me that Yahoo runs off of "dynamic" IP addresses (not sure Dynamic was the word).  They are telling me that no info is needed from them that my Homestead site just needs to be set up for Domain forwarding.  Told them I had changed the nameservers to the Yahoo servers and was instructed to change them back to the HS default to bring the site active once again and then set up to forward to my destination site www.southernstarcattle.com        Through my own scrolling of the DNS things I did see an IP address under the A record @ sign...

they then wanted me just to transfer my domain name to Yahoo and set up a Business mail account (which if not mistaken cost more money)...

I have done what I can. We don't really support forwarding as search engines do not like it. Give it about 30 minutes to see if it works.
