Domain confirmation email not recieved. I purchased a new domain the other day and was advised by homestead I would receive an email from hostmaster@hs-support.homestead-inc.com that would need to verify the domain, I have not received this email so I gather this is why I cannot get my new domain to point to my homestead address, what now?

Your domain is fine. You used an email that is already verified and so were exempted from the process. It appears as though you used Sitebuilder desktop to build the site. Is that correct? All new sites are created to use the new online Websitebuilder, which has different DNS for the sites. If you did use Sitebuilder Desktop, let me know and I can convert the site for you and update the DNS.

You will be required to do this for every new site unless you want to try the new program, or manually update the DNS to match another Sitebuilder site on your account

Thanks Drew, I actually use my main computer with site builder installed as I had to rename my entry page to index, when I publish it it comes up with a "totally lost message it has been published but when I look for the .com nothing shows?

No. I just changed the DNS. All new sites use different DNS than the old Sitebuilder sites. Since the site you created with desktop was supposed to be a new builder site, the domain registered the new DNS. I just changed it to a Sitebuilder site and updated the DNS.

vla05124133, it looks like you have 2 sites and a domain on each site. Is that what you were looking to do?

I somehow get the impression hat you are a very knowledgeable employee of Homestead. Is that correct? I can't seem t get any 'straight answers' when I call homestead; their CSR level of knowledge is all over the map.

Richard8447, yes I am a long time employee of Homestead and we do have some brand new agents on the phones. I apologize if you haven't been able to get an answer. I will help if you like. I can see your account because you logged in, so please do not post anything here like a PIN. If you need to discuss something privately, you can see how in the link below. I have created my new website, but I am unable to get it to show up in the domain that I purchased.  Can you help me?  I receive the same message Lindy8400 received, however, I used the online tool to design my website.
