Do I own my .com completely?

While checking my domain I have found out that the .com for my business is owned by a company in Ontario, who's data base is private & regulated in Ontario Canada>is this Homestaed & is this owned by me ?

You added domain privacy to the domain so that is what is shown. Otherwise your contact information would be available in the public database. You can see the registrant information on the domains tab under contact information.

Nobody truly owns a domain. They are more like a lease. If it is registered through your Homestead account, then you have full control over the domain. If you delete the domain or close your account, the domain will eventually expire and become available to anyone.
