Can anyone explain in plain language what dmarc reports are?  Should we worry when we receive them?

Hello,

You should not worry when you receive those reports.
Simply, they are reports that are sent with any errors received from emails that are sent from your domain, especially is someone is trying to "spoof" your email.
Professionals use software to read these reports, so if you think your email is being spoofed, I would recommend getting those emails over to a security expert.

A DMARC report is a snapshot of email sent from your domain to the reporting domain. For example if Gmail receives an email from your domain, google will send you a report of any emails they have received. The information contained in the report can be used to identify if emails have been sent from a machine not authorized by you
