I'm really close to having to move my sites to another builder but I noticed you are now using HTML video and that is quite hopeful. That said, I have no idea what you have in the works or what you are planning for the future.

A great idea is a developers blog, where the devs talk about their plans and what if anything is holding them back from implementing these plans. I seriously have one foot out the door and the other foot is about to follow.

I've really enjoyed using homestead and I love the service but it's high time for some changes and I need to know what those are or if there are even plans to change. Personally, I want responsive design, pull down menus and an in builder mobile option that is good. Without the hope of these in the future, I really can't stay.

So yes, a developers blog is really needed.

Maurice, I'm looking for help in starting my blog.  I contacted Homestead for help with this and this community board seems to be their only answer on helping me.  I've been with Homestead for a number of years and find their support lacking...if you are interested in helping me and I'll be ok with paying a reasonable fee contact me via my website www.lennyletcher.com

Lenny, Please keep all responses friendly and helpful. Name calling and general negativity are not permitted here. This is another Homestead customer just like yourself who is making a suggestion based on his interpretation of your question. If you are interested in that response you can ignore it or clarify your needs, but do not attack or insult.

That being said, what assistance do you need with the blog?

Really?  May I see your response to him for belittling me? His response to my post was neither encouraging or helpful, there was nothing friendly and/or helpful in his response to my post that was directed to an individual who had made an actual post. I was simply asking him if he might have an interest in helping me. My post was nothing more then seeking help with something I know nothing about but want to learn.

I didn't read it as belittling or unfriendly. I am sorry if you took it that way. I felt he was trying to be helpful, even if you don't find the response helpful, that does not negate the intent.

Back on track though, we are certainly happy to help with anything you need. What help do you need getting a blog started?

Ok, so I went to my website and followed the blog instruction (Via Homestead) about clicking blog and I named my blog etc.  I even posted a short blog but I don't know what happen to it after I posted it and I published my site  - I don't see my blog at all. So where does it go?  Surely, you have someone in tech support or a third party vendor that could get a beginner started with a blog?

I see you created a page called blog and added it to the navigation. What you need to do next is go to the blog page in Sitebuilder and add the blog. Go to Insert, then hover your mouse over text and click on blog. Then drag the element where you want it. Any posts you added should then appear as long as the were published in the blog manager.
