I am trying to get my current desktop site info to show on a mobile device. When I pull up my website on my phone it shows pics/data from 2016-not updating to current. I logged in and clicked on "manage mobile site" and it takes me to duda and i went through and updated and replenished etc... still old info after a day

Hey Pete5066

I can see that you called in to get this issue resolved. I'm glad they were able to fix it, DudaMobile is very difficult to support because not only do they not have a support number or chat, but it is not our program to where I can go in and take a look for you easily.

One thing I will say is, at this point, I don't recommend using DudaMobile for your website. It provides a mobile version of your site by doing a redirect, but  doesn't actually provide a mobile responsive site for you. This means that Google is still going to block your site from coming up like it should when people are searching for businesses like yours in search engines from their phone. This, if it hasn't already, is going to start negatively impacting the amount of visitors you have to your site. Being mobile responsive is crucial these days. About half of online traffic comes from people on mobile devices.

My BEST recommendation would be to start building your site on our newest builder, Website Builder. It is a much newer program, will be easier to get secured with SSL, is mobile responsive, and just has more compatible and current coding. Your site would look and appear to search engines to be a lot more updated.

Please give it a try, I think it would help you out and get you off of Duda.

Of course, if you have any trouble rebuilding your site in the new builder, we do have a design team that can build it for you based off the content of your old site. Give us a call if you want to talk to someone about that.
Hope that helps!

Hi Elyzabeth:
I have been with Homestead for many years building websites with the original Desktop site builder and when I view any of the sites I have built for my clientson my Android, they appear to be exactly the same as I see them on my DesktopComputer.
I did approach Dudda for mobile help but I was not satisfied with the outcome.I will carry one with Homestead Desktop version for as long as I can.

Hello Les6064
I definitely recommend trying Website Builder. The downloadable desktop program is mostly not compatible with operating systems today, and we no longer support it. Eventually, we will not be able to use it at all. If you move your sites over before that happens, it will cause less hardship for you and your websites.

Go ahead and click into Websites manage and click "Add New Website". You'll have to give it a site name for now, you can switch your domain name over when you are done. Then choose your design and start building. Let me know if you need anything!
