You can create both G Suite and Roundcube mailboxes under the same/different domains.

You can create G Suite mailboxes with the same/different email address as your existing Roundcube mailbox.

In order to transfer the data from Roundcube to G Suite, you need to:

  1. GSuite Admin- login to admin dashboard https://admin.google.com/ac/home
    Click on Data migration

  2. Click on link “SET DATA MIGRATION UP”

  3. Select Migration Source= IMAP, item Type= Email, Connection Protocol= IMAP

  4. IMAP Server Address= imap.homestead.com

  5. Enter RC Email address and Password

  6. On Configuration Setting page, Select Migration Start Date, Migration Options and Add Destination (G Suite Email Address)

  7. Hit START button

Data Migration is started and Status is shown as Initializing, as soon as migration is completed Status is shown as Complete
Now the RC emails should have been transferred to G Suite mailbox

I followed the steps to migrate the data from my roundcube email account with the same email address but it's telling me it cannot verify the information entered. So now I lost all of the emails from roundcube.

Hello,

Have you verified you are using the IMAP setting and have entered the username and password correct. If anything auto fills make sure to re-type it to be sure.

Yes. I will try again and screenshot what is entered.

I see that you have contacted support to get this resolved.

Yes. My only complaint is that only archived emails were migrated. Any email that was in my inbox did not migrate. So I lost a lot of information.

This process will populate all information in Roundcube. I can double check to verify there are no issues with the migration.

I will let you know if I receive any updates on this. However, I would not be able to make any outgoing calls but you can always call into support for assistance. For privacy purposes, I would recommend removing your number from this public article.

It won't allow me to delete the comment.

I have removed it from here. Also, for any emails that may not have shown they have migrated, are there any additional folders that populated in gmail that consist of these emails?
There is no harm in running the migration once again, we have tested it and it did not report any errors.

Thanks Michelle!

I will check to see if there was any other populated folders. I'm wondering if I didn't check a correct setting.

The only additional item I see is "Inbox - Sent" which has items from my sent folder but nothing recent.

As long as you are using the imap settings it should pull the emails. Unless you set up a pop account with another 3rd party email client, that is the only other reason I would think it wouldn't populate the server.

I'll give it another try. Any other mail clients I set up were imap.

I tried another migration and unfortunately it did nothing.

I apologize, I have also found that it does not support migrating shared or public IMAP email folders. This may be affecting the emails that did not populate.

I got my emails on my iPad through imap settings. So anything I had opened in an external client wouldn't migrate?

If the messages did not migrate that could be the issue. I am still running tests on my end to see what factors can cause this.
