Those pesky data lists!  I am not sure what you mean about auto, though.  I have been told the data list thing has basically been eliminated from the newer templates because they are so hard to use.  There IS a way to get more lines to show.  Give me a couple of minutes and I will go see if I can remember how to do it.

OK- here is the best you can do with these.  It may take a little trying, depending on how many elements are in your Data list.   You need to click around the edges of the "whole thing" until you see the little dot "grab bars"  and then you can elongate it to accommodate more text.  Keep in mind that as you are doing that, ALL the elements in the data list change size.  It is VERY inconvenient.  If I may suggest another option-- Create a CONTAINER box  from the Elements menu and put all the other elements inside that container in a manner that suits you and all the things in that box will "stick together"  The container is initially green, but you can change it to a color or clear in the Advanced editing.  Then you don't have to worry about text not showing up in the Data list, or your pictures looking weird.   Hope that helps.

Hello,

There is no way to auto config any elements however, you can adjust the height of the data list gallery by using the small white squares to drag and expand the height of the element.

Michelle, thanks and I see your on my page, that's cool.  On the Breakfast Menu page, the box in the data list that contains the menu item description, cut's off the description.  I have found no way to "expand" the box for the description, nor change any settings that would allow the box to "auto" expand to accommodate the longer descriptions.  I want to confirm that what you and Lynn are saying is that the only way to make those "description" areas bigger is by expanding the entire element??  Let me know and thank you in advance!!

I do see the description is a bit cut off. Expanding the entire element is the only way to display more content. Luckily, it only takes a little bit of expanding to reveal all the information and does not cause a huge change in the visual appearance of the website.
