Customers can no longer add notes when placing a PayPal order through my site

Our site, russfinancialschools.com, includes PayPal buttons to order classes that we offer. We have always checked the box to give students the option to add notes so that they can let us know if they are ordering a class for someone other than themselves, etc. Although that box is still checked for every course offering, there is no longer a place to enter the note when placing the order. This creates a lot of confusion for us as well as the students.

I am looking into this. It might be a change Paypal has made and we need to look into that with the developers.

Drew I too have the same issue, called paypal today thinking it was on there end, maggie from paypal stated its on your end. hopefully theres a resolution soon cause I need a spot for customers to add personalization information to order. Very frustrated

We found this info on another site. I am still trying to find out, but it appears that Paypal has disabled the allow notes option. If that is the case, we can't do anything, but I will continue to look.

Iam not sure what's going on, But I had a box last week while a customer checked  out  in pay pal, it was a small box that you had to check in order for a box to come up where you could type in a note to seller, I check it out again and its gone. I can send the order if you wish to prove this kathy

I lost a lot of customer due to this . its very frustrating to the customers when there is no place for them to put there personalization. when I called pay pal on this matter they told me it was homesteads end. I need this solved so its a smoother process in ordering from my store

We are investigating this, but the system we used was turned off by Paypal. There may be an alternate method to enable it again, but the developers will need to make changes. A ticket has been made to investigate this.
