customers are receiving an error message saying I don't have an email account

customers receive a error message saying recipient does not have an account.
I am getting the emails though, but they get this message back to them once they send me an email.

I am not sure which email address it is, but that behavior is usually caused by having a forward on the email that forwards to itself. Check that and remove the forward if it is there. If not, let me know which address and we will take a look.

I tried removing the forward it just re- appears.  all of the email addresses have the forward to itself.
I use a mail collector - mail.com.  So I don't need the forward right?

It doesn't show as being on now. I forgot to mention that it might take a while to remove it on the back end.

I am not exactly familiar with mail.com, so I am not sure.
