How can I record the the number of hits to my site?

Check through all the menu items. Should be a visitors counter somewhere.

Hi Mark5665, It depends on what site builder you are using. Log on at Homestead.com and click "Website Manager" and next to the "Edit Site" Button is the Button "View Stats".

View stats is the best option. Hit counters don't provide useful information and can actually penalize you in search results. Some HTML options also add malicious code that will get your entire site blocked by browsers.
