I put a Contact form, using a button to open it in a separate window. Since my first visitor submitted the forms, which comes to me in the form of an email, all contacts now come in with his name and when I go to answer, despite the new person's email being in the body of the form, it continues to default to the first person. Any idea how I can clear and fix this?

Hello,

Most of the time this is a setting that would need ti be changed from the email box the forms are going to. Who do you use for the email of those forms?

I am sending a test message through your form. When you receive it, please copy/paste it here.

I'm having same problem. I have several Contact Us buttons on several pages and replying to differing email accounts. From website to gmail - no problem. Gmail forwards to comporium.net (my local ISP) webmail accounts. Two accounts - same problem but different users attached: Cora sent email to members & it attached Cora's name to the Homestead address, so incoming shows Cora as Sender but body of message has correct name & email address. If I reply, it replies to Cora at Homestead address. Tommy sent email to flowerweb & same thing. (Cora was last January & Tommy was August.) I deleted Contact forms on website & tried again - same thing just now (9/7 2:05 pm EST).

Hello,

This isn't an issue with the form or the email we send, but the email provider picking a 'name' for the email that it came from. The emails are not sent from the customer but from Homestead, and replying to the emails will not reach the customers. It is peculiar why this is happening, and normally it happens if the email was ever added to contacts.
