Is form data collected and stored anywhere on homestead to download in csv or other format or is it simply email and not stored?

Official Response
The form data can be sent to an email, a text file (which can be pasted into Excel or a CSV file), or both.

First, open the page which contains the form in SiteBuilder and click on the Submit button for the form. Look to the right and you'll see the option to send the data to email, text file, or both. Select one of the text file options, save & publish.

To retrieve the data after someone has submitted a form, log into your account, and click the Websites manager link on the left side of the page. Choose the relevant site from the dropdown menu > click More > click Manage Forms and you will see a window with the text files. You can select the check box on the left side of the file name, and click View. When the file opens, you can copy & paste the data into a spreadsheet.

Michael3874,

Try pasting it into Notepad and see if the order is correct. It might be Excel changing the order.

No, I pasted it in Notepad and the same thing occurred.  When I go into form manager, the information that I copy is already alphabetized and not in the manner in which my form was created.  I can manually re-do the columns, just time consuming.  Any ideas?

Unfortunately not. I will report this to the developers.

It pastes the fields in the order they were put onto the webpage, not the order they physically are in, so when you set the page up if you put them in as 'age, date name, sex' then rearranged them on the page it'll show as the boxes were created.

That is correct. Currently you can change the order by using the layer feature. Bring each element to the front in the order you desire.

Can I track submit requests and their data?.

We just found out that the email address linked to our Submit button wasn't working. I have changed the email address that is linked to the Submit button, and it is now working. I am concerned that we missed some submissions. Is there a way to track clicks on our Submit button, and the data that was entered? Thank you!

Hi centralohiodoulas7431
,   There is not a way to track the previous clicks or recover any potential lost data, unless you have your submit button/form to collect the data in a text file as shown in this thread.  If you don't have it enabled You'll want to do this. Then if you ever suspect that you might be missing emails you can always refer to the text file.

The email buttons on website do not work on my site?.

The "Contact Us"  aka email buttons on my site are currently not working. It seems like when you try to send the email it goes through on the customers end, but then I never receive it on my end. When I send an email directly to my email address it goes through fine, just not from the buttons you provide through the homestead software. Is there a fix for this?

Hello Ramona7164,

Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do about any lost form submissions, but, follow these instructions and you will be able to check the text file as a back up.

Also, delete the button from your page and add it back again.  That will usually fix it.

Thanks

I just want the button to work, so you are saying delete it and add it back?

Yes, but I also recommend activating the text.  Many times automated form transmissions can be blocked be various spam filters, so it is a good backup.

I am sorry, I was thinking of the forms.  You are correct.  Did the button work by replacing it on the page?

Hi - We are looking at our form submissions for our relatively new site.  I read the info above that said "To retrieve the data after someone has submitted a form, log into your account, and click the Websites manager link on the left side of the page. Choose the relevant site from the dropdown menu > click More > click Manage Forms and you will see a window with the text files."   When I click on MORE next to our website there is no "Manage Forms" option there.  The only options I see there are "Rename this site, Upgrade, and Delete this site." Please help me find the Manage forms area.... I want to use this function!   Thanks!
