I've transferred my domain to Homestead, but  I would like to know how to change my host from Hostmonster to Homestead?  I haven't the slightest clue where to start.

How to point your domain name to your Homestead website?

If you already have a domain or just register a new domain at a registrar instead of Homestead, you can keep your existing domain registration and point your domain directly to your Homestead website by updating your DNS (domain name servers).

You can log in your domain account from domain control panel to change DNS setting if you can, otherwise you need to contact your registrar to update your domain settings.

Please follow the two steps below in order to complete the pointing of your domain name.

Step 1: Uupdate your domain name servers to the following:

NS1.MDNSSERVICE.COM
NS2.MDNSSERVICE.COM
NS3.MDNSSERVICE.COM

Step 2: Configure domain pointing in your online Homestead account:

1. Log in to your website account.
2. Click the ‘domains & email’ link in the left-hand menu.
3. Click the ‘domains’ link.
4. Click the ‘Point an Existing Domain’ link.
5. Click the dropdown menu under "Which website would you like this domain to point to?" to select the site you want the domain to open.
6. Enter the domain name you are pointing and click the ‘Verify’ button.
7. Complete Task 1 and click the ‘I Have Added Nameservers’ button.

Once you have clicked the ‘I Have Added Nameservers’ button, Homestead will automatically complete the pointing process. This typically takes 1-3 business days, depending on the speed of your domain registrar.
