At the bottom of my page in desktop view I have a quick link section which is made up of Text lines with inserted links to the various pages within my site.

The Links are black with a light background. I have now changed this (Not published yet) to be white text with a dark background but I wish to keep the dark text links on my mobile site. Problem is it changes to white along with the desktop version as expected. Therefore Iv'e selected and tried the custom tab in mobile view but I cannot change the text color within the mobile view. It changes in the custom properties box but has no effect on the actual text within mobile view. The mobile view therefore has a white background with white text still.

Hope my question makes sense here. Cheers

Unfortunately, when you edit the font in the desktop version it prevents you from altering it in the mobile view. If you add a fresh text box, then go to mobile and change the custom style it will work. That is how it is right now. We have reported it, but do not have any additional information. You can try using the opacity setting to put a bit of a background on the text box that may help on one of the versions so you can edit the other version if needed.

Cheers Drew, I'll have a play around and see what I can do.
