I have one employee that has retired and have hired a new employee.  These employees are both mechanics.  I would like to removed the old email address (rob@example.com) and ad the new technician (dan@example.com).  The are I run into an issue is I do not want to loose all the emails my previous technician had saved in his email and would like them to go into the new technicians inbox.  Is there a way to just change the email address on the same mail box or do I have to delete the one and make a new (would loose all the email currently saved).

Unfortunately, you can't change an email address. You might be able to do what you want with a mail client, like Outlook or Thunderbird. Use POP settings to download the messages to a computer. Then delete the old mailbox and create the new one. The emails would then be saved on the computer. Using POP settings only downloads the inbox, not subfolders, so if the old box had subfolders those messages must be moved to the inbox before downloading.
