Challenge phrases not being accepted on the first try on contact us form.  Accepted after multiple tries, case always matched. crcpa.org adopt page;

I just tested your Contact email and it didn't work on the first try. It looks like the text line "Please type the code you see on the left" could be interfering with the CAPTCHA code as it has dropped down a line. See below. You might try re-doing the form and or stretching the box out so that the text line doesn't drop down a line. If those don't work, Drew or Todd should be in tomorrow and can take a closer look for you.  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hi Susan -- thank  you so much!  Merry Christmas to you too!  I took care of this contact us button on our home page.  The form on the adopt page seems to be the most problematic.  I can't figure out how to make a change to that area of the form in case that's the problem there.  I can wait until tomorrow unless you really love solving mysteries on holidays!  Thanks again!

Love mysteries anytime! Sent a test off of the Adoption page  http://www.crcpa.org/Adopt.html and it worked fine. Is that the right page?

Thanks!  I tried the adoption page this morning.  Once it took 3 tries to get what I typed accepted for the challenge and another 4 tries.  I just tried it now and it worked fine too.  However, I went back to the home page (your first response) I had to type the challenge a second time.  Seems inconsistent.

Can you tell us what browser you are using? Mine went on the first try. I know you said it isn't consistent, so I may send a couple more to see if I can see it fail

Drew I used Fire Fox when I tried it on the Home page and got the fail.

I am not yet sure if this is an actual issue with the form, or if it just that the CAPTCHA is sometimes unclear as to if it needs to be caps or not. We will look at this more closely.

Thanks Drew -- I completely forgot to answer your questions from yesterday.  I was using Chrome as a browser and didn't think to try others.   I think the CAPTCHAs are not clear.  Some letters look bold and sometimes it looks like there's a space between two groups of characters.  I think this could lead to confusion when trying to replicate.  When I tried adding a space it was rejected, not sure if that was why.  The CAPTCHAs don't appear to be case sensitive.  Thanks for taking a look!

Yes. The bold is supposed to be entered as a capital, and sometimes the bold is less bold than others, so it is confusing. The developers were working to integrate a better CAPTCHA system, but then had to switch to releasing the new builder. After the holidays we can see what is happening. Unfortunately, I can't right now.
