cart does not empty after payment

I've had many customers tell me that after they have shopped and paid online, their cart does not clear out, making them think the order did not go through, so they order again.  I've had to refund tons of duplicate transactions because of this.  Is there a way to fix this?

Hello Julie,

I have never seen this issue before. I would like some more information. What browser(s) are being used? If it is a specific product on all orders? Have you tried buying something from the store yourself to see if you can replicate? Are there any common factors between the people who have been experiencing this issue?
