Hey everyone, I'm still using both the old website builder (the online one) and the new version for a few of my sites.  I tried embeding (using html) a couple paypal buttons on one of my sites (that's built using the new builder) and the buttons don't show up...  I realized that the builder actually has paypal buttons integrated but its asking me to upgrade my account....?  I'm only selling two items so I want to use paypal - not sure why its limiting me to have to upgrade for $10 a month more for a storefront just to achieve paypal buttons?  Is there something I'm not doing correctly?

Thanks in advance

Wil

HI Will, I have an HTML paypal button on my Sitebuilder plus website and have yet to put it on my new Websitebuilder account so haven't done it yet but I am assuming I will not need to upgrade. Embedding HTML in the new websitebuilder has thrown up a few glitches for some so check back in  a few hours to see what Drew or one of the other tech guys who will be in here later has to say.

Hey Brian, yeah that's exactly my thoughts.  Actually when I initially tried the html paypal button from the paypal site, it worked on chrome and firefox but on safari the buttons (add to cart, view cart, and paypal logo) did not show up...

The new site builder has a paypal button in the +elements but if i click on it, it prompts me to upgrade my plan....

We do have an issue that is being worked on in this regard. You should not have to upgrade if you are on the Business package or above. The developers are working on this and we hope to have it resolved soon.

Still no update? Went to add a few new items to my site and get the same message that I have to upgrade. Looking at the package options, the only option for selling is a $14.99 per month add on (regardless of package). When did this change? When I signed up here I was supposedly paying for a site that allows me up to 100 items before requiring an upgrade.
