Hi Patty9805,

What is the email address?  Did you send a large mailing out recently?  If not then I suggest you change your password.  Your mail may have been used to send out spam.

Thanks

Drew

I'm having a problem this week-end that may be related, but may be an entirely different problem since it is isolated to my Windows phone. My desktop outlook seems to be working.  I can receive emails using my homestead account, but can not reply.  The email will not release from the outbox and then the process seems to be locked up in a syncing loop.  The only way I can receive new messages again is to delete the mail from my outbox, power down, remove the battery, reinsert the battery, and then start my phone again.  If I don't take these steps, the endless process of trying to complete the sync process wears down the battery until the phone shuts off due to critical low battery power.

Hi John4479,

We don't have a Windows phone available for testing, but have not heard of this before. If the desktop Outlook is working then it might be in the settings.  Has it worked in the past, or is this a new phone?

This is not a new phone and I've never had this problem before. I didn't change any settings. The problem started on Saturday.

There might be a corruption in the account on the phone.  Is it setup as IMAP?

I had to go into the Homestead website and update my account information. I had an old email address as the contact email in there. Also, I needed to change my Outlook setup from mail.homestead.com to pop.homestead.com. It would have been nice if I had gotten an alert that these things were changing instead of missing tons of business emails Friday and not knowing why.

Hi Patty9805,

I am sorry if you didn't receive them, but we sent out several notifications about both changes quite some time ago.

Thanks

I did change something a while back when I got the notices. Oh well. Thanks.
