I can't send emails this morning and receive the error: "The connection to the server has been interrupted. Contact your administrator". I've checked my Outlook settings and they appear to match the recommended ones. All my other email accouts which are non-Homestead work fine.

Hello,

If you have checked the settings and they are correct, please restart your computer and re-test

I am unable to send out emails through Outlook as well.  I have checked all the settings and still won't send.  I am able to receive no problem.  This started after the updates were installed on my computer last week.  There must be some setting that was updated in Outlook.  I even called your Tech support.  It still doesn't send.  Please help

One person in Community said they were able to get it working by changing the server ports to incoming 143 and outgoing 587 but make sure that the the encryptopn/ssl setting is off on both incoming and outgoing.. meaning make sure in the drop down screen you have it on NONE instead of how it defaults to SSL .. and on the outgoing choose my outgoing server requires authentication and select use same as my incoming mail server

Basically, what ever changed in that update is preventing you from using the secure settings that you should be able to with Homestead mail. I would recommend contacting them about that. You should be able to use secure settings.

Other than that, unfortunately, outside of giving the proper settings for the connection to work and trying typical troubleshooting like restarting the computer, we cannot troubleshoot Outlook. Roundcube is working, which means our mail is functional. It seems to be an issue specific to Outlook, possibly from a recent update. I would contact support for Outlook regarding this. In the meantime, Roundcube is available for you to use.
