I've been using homestead for years and have always setup impa and smtp settings in mail clients such as outlook and thunderbird. However since almost the beginning of the year, I can only receive emails through those clients, I cannot send, it displays the message that the SMTP authentication has failed. However settings seem to be correct : smtp.homestead.com port 587

I show SMTP was disabled due to spam complaints. Please run full system scan with an updated security program, then update your password to one that has never been used before. When you have done this, post here and I will enable the SMTP.

I have enabled SMTP. You should be good to go now.

Sorry for the delay in my feedback, dear Drew.
I am very grateful, it works fine now.
However, Drew, i actually have two domains under my homestead account, can you help activate the SMTP for the second domain as well (i use the same computer for the second domain)
the second domain is emergencecapital.orgĀ
Thanks in advance !!!

The SMTP disable/enable is account wide. It would apply to all the email accounts on your Homestead account. What is happening with the second domain?
