Cannot get in to my site to edit it - and need add a new page to it right away. When I login it asks me if I want to keep my current local copy of a file or download the published copy. I really need to add a new page (home tour of a paying customer). The website is www.FSBOTupelo.com - please help!

Problem with choosing local is that I have 5,000+ files in this site and I'm having to go through each and every file. I don't have time to do that. It would literally takes 5,000+ clicks. I really need access to the site to post a page for a customer. Is there a solution?

Try a refresh: (Shft/Ctrl/Delete). Using this procedure intermittently provides solutions to cache and cookie related interference.
F5 = Refresh: A browser works by downloading a page to your computer. Browsers will then show the page from your computer as opposed to downloading it every time you visit a page. This speeds up the process and lessens the traffic on the Internet. Depending on the browser, it will periodically check the website for a new version of the page and download if it has changed. If you don't see a change that you expect, then press F5. That tells the browser to go to the site and download the page now.

There are many reasons you may have to occasionally clear the cookies and cache from your web browser. Here's a little trick that works on almost every web browser. Hold down the following keys: Ctrl+Shift+Delete and you'll get a pop-up. Be sure to select/check Browsing & Download History, Cookies, and Cache.

I will need for each of you with this issue to let me know that you have logged out of Homestead. Tell me which site is having the issue, and I will try to clear the message from our end. I will then post back here to each of you as I want you to try again.

Keep in mind that some people have the issue recur after as few as a single login, so don't log in until you know you will be editing. We are continuing to look at these accounts to see why they recur.

Please also let me know if you have had this message cleared by Homestead at least once already.

Ok, clear your browser and try again. It should let you in at least once. Once in, please make any edits you need to. If you see the sync message again, let us know it is repeating.

Good morning Guy7100,

I did respond to your previous question. I need to know which site you need access to. I also need you logged out of Homestead. Let me know and I will clear the site.

Keep in mind that some people have the issue recur after as few as a
single login, so don't log in until you know you will be editing. We are
continuing to look at these accounts to see why they recur.
