On the old site builder, you could link a button in your navigation bar to an external page or site?  It doesn't seem to work that way in the new one, unless I'm missing something??

Produce an anchor link for the desired element, save and publish. Using your browser, navigate to the page and select the element. You'll see that the URL has changed to include the element's link address. Copy that URL and paste it in your Settings menu Link command.

CREATE A LINK TO ANOTHER ELEMENT ON A DIFFERENT PAGE: You can select the URL from the address line and paste it into your Link command box. If the image or text on the page has an anchor link, you can select that element and the URL will include that specific element. Using that URL address will target that specific element. For example: Select any element on the page and produce an anchor link for that element. Save and publish. Use your browser, navigate and select that element in your site. You will see that the URL address has changed to include the anchor linked item. Copy that URL and paste that as your target link in your Link command box in Image Settings or Text Settings.

This auto reply did not answer my original question.  You cannot link a url in the site navigation menu.   Every link I found on this page refers to the OLD sitebuilder where you could link a specific menu button to an external site.   From what I have tried, it is no longer available.      Please address this question directly.

There are no auto replies in the community. Those are valid instructions from another user, if you were using Sitebuilder, which is the category you chose. I believe you meant to choose Websitebuilder.

I am sorry, but the navigation menu only links to internal pages. You can link text, images, or buttons to external sites.

IT has a sections navigation menu that will allow you to link to the top of each section on the page. If that is not sufficient, you can use the element behavior option to link to any element on the page. You can see how in this topic
