Which site? The navigation menu is going to be the same on all pages, but you may be able to remove the menu from one page and add a button for home.

I am not too sure what you mean by a "Course Page" but if you want a stand alone page ( not part of the navigation) then you can create it, not show it on your navigation bar, but have a link to it from whichever page you want and on your stand alone page you can put text "Return to home page" or a button that is linked to your home page. Or, if choose the page to open in a new tab when its closed they return to the home page. IF that's not what you are looking to do then you will need to explain it a bit better..Hope that helps

Thanks Brian.  It's good to know that I can do this. Can you explain how I remove the navigation from the page? When I add a new page it automatically shows the top navigation that applies to the rest of the site pages.  If I click on the navigation bar and hit delete, I receive a prompt that says the element ( navigation menu) will be removed from all other pages. So how do it remove without this happening? Many thanks for your help.

One of the "benefits" of the new websitebuilder is that anything you put into the header is put on all pages. There is a setting in the properties box that you can select "this page only" but I have never tried to remove the nav bar with this option so have no idea what would happen.  I remember an option to not include a new page in navigation but cant think if its websitebuilder or sitebuilder + I will have to log into my account and have a look.

HI Colleen. Well I was intrigued by what you wanted to do so had a play around with websitebuilder to see what I could come up with. There may be some better, simpler options but this is what I did.

I had five pages showing on my navigation...
and checked max menu items was 5 in settings.

Added a sixth page called Project and clicked on hide from menus ( a red diagonal line crosses them out)

Click on icons and a red line is put through them

On the project page I inserted a box, dragged it over the navigation bar made the colour the same as the background but left the home button visible.

On the home page I inserted a simple button and linked it to the project page. ( not in the header section or it will appear on all pages) Now at the bottom of the link options you can choose to open in a new window. IF you choose this it will only work on the published page (not in preview) if you do not select this it will work in preview.

SO I ended up with the following:-

Project page does not show on your navigation.

The project button will link to the project page

The only visible Home button on the navigation on the project page will return to Home page

It seems to work OK but feel free to give it a go and see if it actually does what you wanted.
