I have an existing site built about 3 years ago when I don't believe there was a Master Page option or I didn't know there was one. Can I add a Master Page using SiteBuilder Plus online?

Unfortunately not. We have to switch your account so that you can only use Sitebuilder Plus, then you would need to select a new template with a master page and then rebuild the site from scratch.

Thanks, Drew for your speedy response. I understand that I would have to rebuild the sight. (not thrilled about that...) but what do you mean by "switch my account"? I only use Sightbuilder Plus.

Currently, your account allows for the use of desktop. To be able to use a master page, we do need to disallow that.

Okay, just to be clear - when I'm ready, I just need to contact Homestead to disallow the desktop version and then rebuild my site with a template that includes a Master Page, right?

Correct. You have a couple of options for rebuilding. You will be able to simply change the template on the existing site and start over, but until you finish the site, there will not be a site live online. The other option is that you can create a new site and build itwhile the old one stays online and when ready change the domain to the new site. This will require some add-ons that will temporarily increase your cost by $2-$6(approximately)/month until you finish.

Also, you can contact support, or you can use the community to make the request.
