Can edit but cannot Publish with Sitebuilder

I use Sitebuilder and recently reinstalled it after my computer crashed.  I can edit pages but am unable to publish.  The message says I need an internet connection but I am connected to the internet.  Any ideas on what I can do?  I use Opera but switched to Chrome and it still didn't work. I've been using this for over 20 years and have not experienced this problem.  I access my site through the homestead icon.  When i access through the main site it wants to use Sitebuilder Plus.

Are you publishing from the desktop builder or online using Sitebuilder pus?

Thank you for your help.  I had tried the first option when I reinstalled the first time.  I used the second option now and it is still asking for an internet connection. I may try again tomorrow after some rest.

When I login to Homestead and click on Manage Websites my sites look different than when I use the Desktop app. Are they the same program with just a  different view? If so, I will just work from there.  Or is this the Plus version?  Sorry to be so gabby, just trying to figure our the best way to proceed.

No worries. The online version is the same program with the same content. You can definitely edit your site with this program, it is recommended to do so.
