Which site and page are you working on?

Thanks for getting back to me Drew. I figured the issue out. But I have a new one. I used a HTML  code you posted on how to insert a long text page and have it scroll independent of the background. It works fine except I lose all the original formatting and the words just run together, no paragraphs, bullets are missing, underlining of words is gone. Any suggesti9ons how I can  keep the original formatting of a document when HTML is inserted?  Web site: belmontretirementsystem.com, under retirees tab I placed the HTML test page. It works, but without the original formatting. I have the same text under the resources tab "frequently asked questions" so you can see how it's supposed to look.

Thanks for all your help Drew

Walter

The code snippet I placed does not include formatting. To add formatting into this, you will need to do a little more work on the code. Tags need to be added for any formatting you want to add. This includes carriage returns, text color, links, underlines, etc... Unfortunately, the permutations of what can be done are so many, that I can't provide anything but the simple snippet.

You could use a regular text box and make the section taller so that it all fits in there.

Thanks for getting back to me Drew. A taller text box won't help me because I'm losing all the underlining, bullets, paragraphs, etc. I'll look into modifying the code to get it to be what I need.

Do you know of a simple code generator to make HTML files from a word document I could get online ?

Thanks

Walter
