Hello,

Storefront Professional, with Bigcommerce has always had a 1GB limit. Do you reduce your image sizes before uploading?

To a certain degree...structure/quality/URL in BC vs PS drastically changed so we did have to compensate but they seem to scale down some anyway and are not by any means very high resolution.

Cannot say I remember ever having/seeing this limitation in account summary before since the transition last year (and admittedly have not signed into the Homestead account for now several months with all the issues that have been occurring.

Did not know we had several store plans available...are upgrades done in the Storefront admin? Do we now have access to their forum? Can we also now upgrade to private SSL?

Additionally...what 'extra charges' are we to avoid? Is there a schedule of this posted somewhere?

I am looking in to this now. I probably won't hear until tomorrow. BC was meeting with our folks recently and some things are changing, but I have not heard exactly how yet.
I want to know all this too and any changes to see if i have to move on, to a different provider

Of recent I have not been able to locate this usage information...do you know if BC moved it? I've checked just about everywhere in my Admin but could not find.

Hello,

After some recent updates from BigCommerce, I believe they removed the usage information, as the base plan has a 3 gig allowance that is rarely met.

Thank you for the update William. lol...do you know if BC would still 'warn' us should the usage get close to the 3 gig limit? (since we cannot monitor, I would not want a 'surprise' at some point down the road).

Hello, BC has told me they no longer track limits, so there are no warnings needed.
