I decided to try an image (from Homestead file) for the background instead of a color, but it does not show up after I save and preview. So, I published the page to see if that made a difference, but it doesn't. The background is a solid color. Thanks in advance.

Which site and page are you working on and having the problem with?  We'll take a look at it.  Just let us know what image we should be seeing.

I'm currently having the same problem.  Is there any update to this?

Hi Jack0619,

All of your pages are set to use a color of white as the background.  What image are you trying to use and what is happening?

I'm trying to set it to white but it is keeping my background image.  It checks out in the preview, but when I punch the url in on my browser I see it hasn't changed.

Here is the site as I see it.  A white background.  If you still see an image, then go to the live page and hit your f5 key.

Is there a way to make the background refresh automatically? When I make the change, a lot of people still see the old background unless they hit refresh. That's becoming an issue.

By default most web browsers are set to cache the page, about the only thing you can do is add refresh code in the head section.

Here is a page that discusses some of the code options. You can copy and paste this into the head section if you wish to give them a try.

Be very careful about when you use these. You don't want an auto-refresh on a page that is interactive; for example  a form or something that the customer fills out as it will wipe out their work if it refreshes when they are filling it out.
