Attempt to transfer domain to different host has failed

I have attempted to transfer my domain to a different host. I have followed all the instructions:
  1. Edit Contact Info -- Make sure your email address is listed as the administrative contact. The authorization code (sometimes referred to as an EPP code or Domain password) will be sent to that email.


  2. Unlock Domain -- Click Edit Domain Locking link and make sure your domain is unlocked.


  3. Disable Privacy -- Click Show Privacy Status and confirm it's disabled or off.


  4. Send Authorization Code -- Click Email your authorization code link. The next page will confirm the email address it will be sent to. Click Send to confirm.

  5. Once you've completed all 4 things, your domain is now ready to transfer out.

  6. Contact the new provider start the transfer process with them.

The new provider says that the domain is still waiting to transfer. It has been over a week and I am still waiting. I have confirmed the Authorization code. What more needs to be done?

The transfer request was received from the new host on May 24th. It should complete in the next couple days.
