I am having trouble with the Alphabetical Order of Products on my website www.joeyswarehouse.com. For example if you visit my site and click on the category, "Pub & Tavern Signs,,,,,,,http://stores.joeyswarehouse.com/-str..." you will see a Bartender on Duty Sign with nameboard and then you will see a Bar & Grill Oval sign and then as you scroll on down the page you will see the Bartender on Duty sign and then the Bartender on Duty Nameboard. Why don't the three signs of Bartender on Duty appear together in alphabetical order? Hope someone can help and that this post makes a little sense.....Have a great day...............JOEY

Hello Joey,

By default Storefront will sort products specifically alphanumerically. So the best way to make sure that your products are staying together is to make sure that the names are spelled the same.

Now what makes this a bit tricky and what is messing things up on your store is the capitalization of your products. Because "BARTENDER ON DUTY with NAMEBOARD" is in caps it is coming up before other products with the same name. So in your case, you will want to adjust the caps so that it reads "Bartender on duty with nameboard" or something in along those lines.

I hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions on this.

Sincerely,
Mindy G

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
How do I organize the order that my products appear in in each category?.

I need to know how to organize each product so that I have control over which products get shown at the top of my product list in each category.

Good morning, Sorry for the delay in responding. The above answer is one option. On the Storefront, you have one other that should server you as well. In the Store menu, under General, and finally the Storefront Search section, you may sort products by Manufacturer name.

You could create manufacturers with names of 1,2,3,4,etc, or A,B,C,D, etc and assign them to products in that way. This does make it difficult to use true manufacturer names if you wanted to, but it should solve this particular problem

Thanks

Drew
