Thanks for the suggestion. This request does come up occasionally and is under consideration. There will be a new version of SimpleStore released in a few months, that will have some new functionality, bug fixes, and a much better user interface. As far as the international shipping/address feature, I can't say exactly when/if it will be released but we'll communicate this with the developers.

It's ridiculous that you can't provide us with the capability for international addresses. I use to have my customers just enter my business address as theirs and then put their address in the comment/note to seller box, but now that Intuit is no longer involved, that box is gone and we can't even do it this way anymore. What exactly is my monthly fee for if you can't provide me with what I need?

The box was provided by the Intuit web payment option. Intuit has discontinued that service, so we had no choice but to switch processors. I am sorry that it doesn't fit your needs.
You could use Paypal, or we can discuss our Storefront option, which works anywhere in the world.

Not all people have or want Paypal and that still doesn't get past the fact that the first page people get to when they're 'checking out' is an address page that only accommodates US addresses. And as far as I know, I already have a 'Storefront'.

You have what is called the Simplestore. Storefront is an entirely different program. Unfortunately, there isn't any way to change the Simplestore checkout process at this time.
The change was made for tax requirements within the U.S.

Ok. Will look at the Storefront thing, but we're a not for profit group (still waiting on the IRS to get back with us about giving us 501(c)(3) status) and are filing taxes as such. So how does this site handle non-profit groups who don't have to worry about the tax requirements?

No problem. It can handle charging taxes anywhere in the world or not charging taxes at all.
If you have questions, then please ask them here or contact a representative. As noted earlier, the information on your account is for the old platform that is going away at year's end. The new platform is powered by Bigcommerce and is much better than the old.
Thanks

OK, I got hoodwinked into spending $700 on Big Commerce. Ugly interface and difficult to operate/update/integrate.
For those of you struggling with the same issue, get a PayPal Merchant account. You can use their shopping cart for free and there is no issue with taxes regardless of location. I mad that decision earlier this week and I was back up and running in 30 minutes. Easy integration with your site and the PayPal shopping cart takes your customers right back to your site via their "continue shopping" button.

I am not sure what you mean. Most customers are finding Bigcommerce far easier than the old Prostores store.
I suggest you contact support this week to review your account. I don't see any charges for Bigcommerce at $700.00
Thanks
