Mike -Only mine that I know of is missing contacts. My hubby's contacts were fine except for our other addresses - he didn't have any of the 8 in his contacts but still had all others.

"becky" is ok, not too worried about that one.
"info' is not ok. It is missing all the contacts that were in groups i.e. 2014 Jan 10 caravan. Calendar; has the dates that I put in for upcoming events in 2014 all on the wrong days. I really would rather have the 'monthly' calendar have the week start on Sunday. Not Sat. & Sun. grouped together at the end of the week.

My contacts did not get moved over. I can import them from another program as a csv file but not sure how to import

This page shows you how to import/export in the OX system. The easiest thing to do, is make sure have at least one contact already added in the OX system. Then export a csv from OX, and copy/paste from your other csv file to the OX file and save it. Then import the original OX csv file. This way all of the column headings are correct and the information map appropriately.

I do not have all my contacts! I NEVER received the promised spreadsheet! I need to email clients and I do not have the emails because of your error. Where are the contacts and how do I get them back ASAP?

Hi Amanda3181,

You would only receive an email if you were using the list manager feature on in the Homestead website. If all of your contacts were stored in the Zimbra email client, those should have transferred over.

If the contacts were in the Zimbra system, you'll find them shown here: https://community.homestead.com/homes...

If you were using the list manager, reply here to let me know and I'll do some research and try to get the list to you as soon as possible.

Only a fraction of our e-mails have transferred over too and none of our sent mail. We can't see what prices we have agreed with suppliers and customer etc. Is this going to get fixed?????

My sent messages are also missing along with all of the folders I created. I have work information sorted and stored that I really need. In addition when I go to contacts it says I have 380 but each one is blank.

The new platform is lovely, email is quicker, I have not tried to send an attachment yet but am hoping that is speedier too. But it's value is significantly diminished, almost to nil, without my folders and contacts.

Rebecca7432, in case you need to log into the old account, yours has been unlocked temporarily. you can go to mail.homesteadmail.com and log in and export any data you need.

Subfolders are simply access by clicking the parent folders. If there are subfolders within another folder, it will be identifiable with the small arrows to the left of the parent folder. In the images provided, the Inbox would be considered a parent folder.

Only some of our contacts got transferred. I understand that there is still some transition process with this upgrade, but can we expect that our contacts will be restored at some point?

The contacts should have all transferred at once. I'll look into this. We may have to log into the email account, so if you need to use your email and it won't let you in, just reset the email password back to your original and it should let you log in again. I see you have several domains and email addresses. Can you please confirm which one(s) are not correct, and what is missing from which email account?

Can you tell me if you had more than one calendar. Only the contents of the primary calendar will transfer. If it's the primary calendar with the problem, let me know and I'll have this escalated.

Only one calendar, and I was able to recreate them. Took me an hour. Also figured out the answer to my other problem. Still, it was very upsetting thing to happen only a week before the release of my new book.

Mike, NONE of my older sent messages are in the folder that says SENT! AND my calendar is still a mess. I have NONE of the group email address I created. This is our business and we work in Mexico. We have driven sometimes 700 miles to get some of this information and it is not east to re-collect on the web. I don't have the time to do that since we need it NOW! Please help get ALL our information BACK! Is there someone I can talk to on the phone? I need to do it NOW!

It sounds like you were able to get the contacts CSV file exported. We've disconvered the trick to getting them imported onto the new system is to export the CSV file from the new system, then, copy and paste your contacts from Zimbra to that CSV file, save it, and import it back in. The reason that the CSV file won't import directly into the new OX system has to do with the column headings not matching exactly. If you export the file from OX, then you'll automatically have the right format.

Regarding the calendar, there are a couple different options. Did you say previously that the calendar migrated, but the events where on the wrong dates? If so, that would account for the error message being produced. "an appointment with the unique identifier already exists".

One option is to have two windows open side by side and manually re-enter, or correct the entries. The other option, is that we can re-migrate the calendar for you, but, it will wipe out any new events that you've manually entered on the new calendar.

Do you have a preference? If you want us to re-migrate the calendar entries, we'll do that from this end.

The contact thing sound complicated. I will try it but...I don't feel too confident. The calendar...I do not like the Sat/Sun. at the end of the week, is there any way to change that format? If there is then my calendar should work.

I too still do not have my contacts returned to my email. I contacted help twice last week and was told via chat that the issue was "escalated." Still no address book. One helpful agent emailed my address book to me but told me not to enter new contacts, they would be lost when my previous address book was transferred. This is taking up a great deal of my time to find names, cut, paste send. Help!

Sorry for the issue. There was an outage with our domain provider which caused a problem with a few accounts that were being migrated to the new email plat form. I do not yet have an ETA but the failed accounts will be re-migrated to capture the missing information.

Hi Jeffrey9207, I've been informed that the domain outage should not have caused this issue. So, there is another cause for the problem. Is it possible you hade more than 10,000 emails stored in the Zimbra system?

There may be a problem if the size was too large.

I doubt there are 10,000 emails, but if so they would not have been in these folders but in the inbox.

We are very sorry for the issue that some of you are having with emails and/or contact lists that did not transfer over during the email migration. Our email admins have identified the problem and are working on a fix.

At this time, the best and fastest resolution that we can provide is to temporarily unlock your old Zimbra email accounts so that you can log in and access the data you need.

Once your old account is unlocked, you'll be able to log in at mail.homesteadmail.com and export the data you need.


If you need access to the old account, please just reply to this post and include the domain name for the email account you need access to.

What the *(@#$&%^ is going on? I can't get into the old email or the new one, despite typing in every name and password associated with Homestead. I'm so confused about which PW goes with my email or with Get Satisfaction, I don't know where I am or supposed to be.

Also, I've tried to add new content to my website. Although it shows up in Preview, it does not appear on the site if I go to it through Google. Is this a separate problem or is it related to the email switchover?

OMG! All of my email folders are gone! The only ones that transferred over were the few that I had in my Zimbra when I still tried to use Outlook with Hmail. Please give me access to my Zimbra mailbox.
