Contacts/email addresses were not converted to Roundcube. We have been accessing our email thru a direct OX link (thank you for providing this!), so have not been experiencing any issues. Pulled up the email thru Homestead and it pulled up Roundcube. Don't like it at all but have been trying to change settings to make it better. My address book was not converted though. It has a few emails/contacts in there but not listed alphabetically and not sure who the addresses even are. No display names, just some email addresses. Can you please import all my contacts as they are in the OX version?

Also, will all emails sent now be in the Roundcube 'Sent Items' folder and not the 'Sent' Folder? There are some in the Sent folder, but it is only the emails I've sent back and forth to employees using our same email. It looks like emails sent to customers are in the 'Sent Items' folder. Is there a way to get all emails to go to the same Sent folder? Thanks!

H John, from previous posts I am aware that the Old OX sent folder was migrated over to Roundcube as Sent Items.. so those will be from the OX mail. Any emails sent via Roundcube will be in Sent folder. With regards your contacts from OX I know you can download them to your computer as a csv file and " apparently" you should then be able to Import it into your Roundcube email. Here are the instructions to download from OX.. Uploading to your Roundcube folders...? Not sure, but the techs will be in here Monday morning so maybe they can assist further. Good Luck

Thanks very much for taking the time to write. I appreciate the information. Makes sense about the Sent folders. I'll have to play around with saving and importing the contacts when I get a chance, or see if the techs can help tomorrow. Thanks for the link with instructions!

I just did as the instructions said and it went thru the process of importing it, only to say that it 'Successfully imported 0 contacts.' It didn't work. Help please. john@firehousemoustachewax.com

There were some duplicate contacts that did not import. but I see over 1800 contacts in Roundcube. I checked a couple of the first batch and see they had no first and last name in OX, just a display name. Roundcube focuses on the first and last name. The first 75 or so seem like that. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about those.

As for using OX, calendars, contacts, and I believe sent items will not be converted over to Roundcube again. These are store in a different place than the inbox and does not stay sync'd

Okay, I did the import last night and now all my contacts are missing in the OX email. How do I import them back into OX?? I would rather have them in there right now since I much prefer OX.

I see where I have contacts in Roundcube now but they are a jumbled mess and not like they were in OX. I also had very important group emails of all our international and U.S. retailers and those are nowhere to be found in the Roundcube contacts. How do I get them back? That's my most important compilation of emails to have.

Is there no way to do a search for contacts alphabetically like we can with OX? I was able to click on the letter R and my group retailer lists were easily accessible from there. Now I have to scroll all the way thru just to get to the 'R's,' and my retailer lists are no longer there.

p.s. I also had all their addresses and info. in OX and that did not transfer over to Roundcube. Just their name, email and phone transferred.

Now I can't even get into OX at all. If you open up and use Roundcube can you no longer get into OX? I've lost my most important compilation of retailers that you can't imagine how long took me to compile over the years, and all their address info. is also gone. It's the only way I had to contact everyone as a group if I needed to notify retailers of changes with pricing, our product etc. etc. Please help!!!

I logged into OX and everything is still there. Unfortunately groups could not be moved over. You will need to create a group in Roundcube and then add the members. You can look in OX so you can see that you get everyone, but you don't want to make a habit of continuing to use OX. Any contacts you add will not be moved to Roundcube and the OX servers will not be left on forever. I do not know if there will be warning of their shut off either.

I finally got back in too. Yes, they are all there again! Whew and thank you! Not sure why no contacts were showing at all. Maybe a fluke in the system because then I couldn't get in at all for awhile. I wish there was a way to print my group emails out, but I will take print screen shots and at least have their info. that way. I am so relieved. Thanks again for the information!

Do the street addresses not transfer over to Roundcube either?

I had assumed addresses would carry over, but let me look into this for you

Can you give me a few examples of people where the physical address didn't come over? I would like to see if I can figure out why. 3-6 should be enough if you have them handy
