I am trying to add Facebook Custom Audience Pixel to my client's website. I went into the Websites Manager - Page Settings - Advanced Settings, and inserted the code in the <head> tag HTML section.

I clicked Save, then Publish.

When I view the page source of the website the code does not show up anywhere.

Am I doing something wrong?

The website is http://www.mdasonline.com/.

Hello,

Try adding it on your page as an HTML snippet as shown in the article below.

How do I get the file in the <head> section?

Also I've added the code directly in the <head> HTML section and could see that I was successful when I previewed the page. However, when I published the page the code was not there.

The HTML code should not be in the HTML <head> section, but in a snippet instead.

Hello,

I did a little research about the Facebook pixel and it is just a tracking code for Facebook to see who visits the site. The code will not display anything on the website. The article I found was below.
