New Website

Is there a special trick to getting your website to look good on a computer and on the mobile version? I am finished creating my new site and I'm very happy with it but when I pull it up on the mobile version it is all jumbled up as far as the layout and where things are in order on the page as you scroll....  I have published my site under the test name I used when creating it and when I pull it up on my phone it is all mixed up.
