The videos were just disappearing once I clicked on to another area on the website and back.  One reason being, that try as I might I couldn't see where the save button was because it is hidden so will against the black ground up top.  Same thing for the instructions for the current website builder.  I still don't know I found them but they finally came up and the problem has now been solved.
