Is there a way to show an item in your store as Preview but not yet available for purchase

I want to have a sneak preview section in my ecommerce store on Website Builder. I want customers to see them, however, they aren't yet available for purchase. I know I can create a banner, but is there a way to prevent customers from adding it to their cart?
