How does the similar products by category panel work?

On your product page, you might have noticed a panel called Similar Products by Category. The Similar Products by Category panel is a simple grouping of breadcrumb links. These links are all pulled from the category information of your current product. It has links to the different categories that are assigned to the product.
As an example, let's take a look at this test product's category assignments:

Because this Test Product is in the Shop iPhone, Shop iPod, and Shop Mac categories, there will be three category links shown in the panel on the product page:

Why aren't there links showing in my Find Similar Products by Category panel?
The Find Similar Products by Category panel follows the Product Brreadcrumb rules that are set in the Display tab of your Store Settings.

1.) To find this, first go to Settings, and then Store.

2.) Now, click on the Display tab and find the Product Breadcrumbs dropdown menu.

In order for your Similar Products by Category to show the links, you will need to set this option to Show All for it to display all the related category links.  If you set it to "Show One Only", it will only display one of the category links.
