Website doesn't update - using SiteBuilder desktop or SiteBuilder Plus

When I publish changes to a webpage using SiteBuilder desktop the changes are published to http://mikesarttruck.homestead.com/ but they are not visible on http://www.mikesarttruck.com. I am so confused about how to fix this. I need to continue to use SiteBuilder desktop, and I know that you no longer support that program.  I tried to update using SiteBuilder Plus, but that did not work either. It seems my website is no longer associated with the homestead server (?). How can I reunite them? Please help with steps as simple as possible. Thanks!

What pages are you making changes on? I see that the index page was last published today. Also, if you are inside Sitebuilder Desktop you can open the file manager, then click Upload to begin uploading your website into Sitebuilder Plus.

Hey Todd,

Thanks for the quick attention! The index page was a good example of the problem. There are several pages that are not updating correctly - missing items and format changes. If you scroll through the artist pages, all of them have problems.

I edited the index page, then published it, asking the dialog to view the page after publishing. After I click to prove I am human in a CloudFlare box, the webpage that comes up in my browser is not displaying correctly. The url for that page with the problem is:

www.mikesarttruck.com/~site/Scripts_UnderConstruction/UnderConstruction.dll?CMD=CMDViewSite&PATH=index.html&HS_ID=1751538944&REFERRAL=SB

There is a message at the top of the page that says: "Your site has been published to: http://mikesarttruck.homestead.com/" If I click on that link the page displays correctly.

If I enter http://www.mikesarttruck.com in a new browser window, I get the webpage with the problems. Although logically, without the message at the top of the page.

So it looks like my website is "under construction" (?), but it has been up and running for years now.

When I view the index page for both mikesarttruck.homestead.com and mikesarttruck.com, I see the pages are the same. I wonder if your browser is caching your previous changes. Can you try previewing your site from a different browser?

Well, I still think you're right, but I am doing something wrong.

To try another browser, I downloaded Chrome. I typed in www.mikesarttruck.com and the correct page opened.  I opened Microsoft Edge (the browser I was using previously) went to settings, history, and clear history. Signed out, exited & restarted Windows.

When I opened Edge and entered www.mikesarttruck.com the page with the errors opened again. I tried Chrome the same way and got the page with the errors. I think I have to start again tomorrow, but I would certainly appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Caching can sometimes occur through your internet service as well. It's been a couple of days. Are you still experiencing this issue?

Thanks for checking on me. I took Todd's advice and uploaded my entire website. Then I gave the online SiteBuilder Plus a new try from my iMac. I was quite surprised at how well it worked, so I no longer feel the need for the SiteBuilder desktop version. The last time we tried the online version ended in frustration so we have continued to use the desktop version. We gave up on Windows a while back and bought an iMac, but we have been keeping Windows 10 going so that we can use the old SiteBuilder program. Hopefully now we will be able to ditch the desktop version and also Windows.

I can't say I understand the problem, but I have found my solution for now.

Thanks so much for your help and your quick responses.
