link style issue

HI, I have followed all the instructions on changing the link styles in page settings and in the link menu to the side .I am still getting blue on some links when moused over and grey when selected . I have chosen all white and staying white as the rest looks messy Especially the blue ...im waiting to publish but hesitant with this happening
