Editing Issues with Sitebuilder + | Tech answers
Hello Folks,
Well ... I spoke with a very nice young lady representative and she said the team is working on the editing issue, I kindly asked several questions
so as to get some inside info,
The good news is, from what I gathered, they are not doing away with the sitebuilder/+ platform, stating too many customers use that platform so therefore they continually work on the older platform many of us use, trying to bring it up to speed with newer technologies within the internet, the older version cannot simply be updated over night, I'd presume code needs to be rewritten somehow or another which cant be too easy.
The bad news is, they're still working on it, Id presume with the 10's or 100's of thousands in revenue from their customer base that a team of programmers are sweating it out in some office somewhere to get our websites fully functional again.
I don't represent them but as a business owner, I do understand complications, as many of you do as well, but they should be fairly quick about it or atleast
make a public statement explaining something similar to what I just wrote.
Hopefully it will be resolved this month.
Ps. Why don't they practice on a replicated version of site builder instead of the one were all currently using.

Thanks for sharing, Mark. I agree. It would be helpful if they could upgrade SB+ and upload the changes without interrupting service. In addition, it would be advisable that they publish alerts to keep users informed.

I've noticed your one of the many helpful long timers that have done so much for so many on this platform.
Not sure if your just a great person and or a valued homestead representative, The latest concerns are getting us back in business of editing our websites.
Could you or are you able to give follow-ups on the progress of this recent editing issue so many of us can have some ray of hope for when we can get back to building our web presents.
Our sails have been removed as we drift aimlessly. ok, maybe a little much, but we really need some sound input.

I run a Christmas tree lot, we lost our lot and we are going with on line sales. 2,000 customers will be going to my site to order a tree and my changes have not been done yet. This will be devastating to us.
