Text Boxes or Rectangles

I have placed a text box or rectangle on my entire store page to add thumbnails. Now I would like to remove it. I have deleted the thumbnails beside each item,but I cannot remove the text box or rectangle so that I may go to another page in the store. How do I remove the text box or rectangle without deleting all of my merchandise listed in the store and be able to go to another page of the store?
