Interface with PayPal

Customers purchase products from our www.purehts.com store. We use PayPal as our credit card and financial connection. Your site asks for the name, address, email address, and telephone number; finally, your store transfers the customer to PayPal to pay. The customer pays and we get a written notice with the name, address, and email address.

However, PayPal does not get the name, address, email address, and telephone number. This is important for three reasons:

Our sale, as is our customer, is protected by PayPal's Terms and conditions
The address transfers to PayPal's partner ShipStation so there is no chance of a copying error.
Transferring the information makes my job mush more safe and easy.

HydroTec is your customer, we have had very bad customer service concerning this issue, please correct it soon!

PayPal gets customer details from the customer's email address.

@russell5607 Okay, but those details do not show up in PayPal! I'm using Homestead's Simple Store not the PayPal buttons.

There are no details. I've been asking Homestead to make all the customer data available to PayPal for at least four years. They have not complied. I've been using their platform since 1997 when they were Intuit. I don't appreciate being shunned by them so I am writing to see if there are others with the same problem in this discussion group.

I'm a Homestead client. I use PayPal. When I want to verify a customer using PayPal, I always logon to my PayPal account.

Hello,

We aren't able to change the way our system interacts with PayPal. If you need more integration, I would recommend you look into using buttons via HTML from PayPal.

@elyzabethv But, we have one of Homestrad's stores. We like the store format but not the way you handle the interface between the store and PayPal. There is not one valid reason why that data cannot be transferred. Laziness is the only reason I can imagine.
