Problems / Questions with my Contacts in Roundcube E-mail

Why am I missing many contacts in the new Roundcube?  Should they not all have been transferred from my Homestead e-mail (January 2018)?  Also, why doesn't search of the Roundcube contacts work?  That is, the "Search" capability finds no contacts even when I try a contact that is obviously present (first name or last name).
