New domain email address not receiving emails:permanent error

I set up a new email account for my domain.  The new email address is  I'm able to send emails out and they are received fine, but emails sent to the new email address receive a "Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently.  Reason: Permanent Error."  This comes after multiple temporary failures.  I've tried two separate email accounts (both comcast).
