My email connection is not secure and logins could be compromised

When logging on to my email, I get a message saying that the connection is not secure and that logins could be compromised. Is there a way to make it secure?  IT IS REALLY SCARY THAT MY BUSINESS EMAIL IS NOT SECURE!!
