New Host Domain with Homestead, Can't Transfer to New Host


I've redirected the domain, but am unable to transfer hosting completely as I don't have access to the verification email. If I cancel hosting with Homestead, will the domain remain active? Will I have to pay dual hosting?

Please advise.
